As if we just didn't have enough holidays in the USA we would have to worry about just another one. And as annoying as a new holiday may be, another one may be just as acceptable as the next one. I'm talking about the Irish Heritage in the NEPA. It seems like not enough people in the area are here to appreciate such a tradition not only once a year, but they don't celebrate any another time.
We all know NEPA is just as diversified as any other area in the country, so why don't we celebrate Limerick Day? "Yup, just another Irish Holiday we're celebrating", is obviously what an NEPA person would say. But really, there is only one time the Irish are recognized in the entire year of NEPA and that's The St. Patty's Day Parade.
The Irish aren't asking for much, they just want to be recognized for the drunken spirit they can have from time to time and always be there for a person when they need someone to really chat it up with. They'll sing they're tunes. Locals and everyone in the nation can randomly suggest an Irish Limerick to be played at #MyFavLimerick and talk about their girlfriend in the post. If the song doesn't play at first, just give me time. I'm working on making music instantly play hopefully by tomorrow. Happy Limerick's Day!!
