Freezing bubbles isn't that hard. All you need is a bubble wand, some soap, and 13 degree-ish temperatures.
Don't have say, "Yuck!" Instead, think about saying, "Yum!" Bugs might one day save the world from starvation. In fact, it is projected that by 2030 bugs will be part of a new trend and will be grown, harvested, and sold on a regular basis. I'm not afraid to eat them. I already like to eat snails, raw clams, and sashimi. Toss some bugs into your salad. Go ahead. Yum!
Apparently we can smell with our lungs. The next time you suddenly cough for no apparent reason, think about what your lungs are smelling. The nose usually knows but the lungs nose better.
The future of tablets is exciting. They are becoming as powerful as gaming consoles and have surpassed the processing power of supercomputers from the 1980s. Tactus is literally raising the bar for keyboard technology and integrating their hardware solution into the touch screens of tablets as early as 2015. I first saw this technology at CES 2013, but this year they are in talks with major tablet OEMs and should start manufacturing by the end of 2014. There's no doubt that once they develop this hardware further, it'll be integrated into cell phones too. Let's hope they don't get acquired by, oh I don't know, say Apple or Samsung or Google... Hopefully they'll pull a Snapchat and keep this little beauty all for themselves and dish them out for all to consume.
Hollywood's funny-man Judd Apatow will be voicing himself in tonight's (Jan 5th) Simpsons episode along side Seth Rogan and Paul Rudd. He will also be lending his writing skills in season 26 with an old script he just so happened to have lying around his house. Click here for a clip. Hmmm. Judd, Rudd.
Netflix recently enabled commentary on the first season of House of Cards. You can enable this feature from the subtitle menu to listen to six different directors give their two cents.
The MythBusters are kicking off a brand new season with a Star Wars special. How crazy is that going to be? It'll air Sat. Jan. 4th 8/7c on the Discovery Channel.
The only thing this NPR article about "the beauty inside everyday edibles" doesn't do is split a pig in half and show us its yummy innards. I personally enjoyed staring at the mouth watering mashed potatoes being doused in gravy and the inner tidbits of a cup of ramen noodles.
Welcome to Ajazz Decrypted. Expect everything and nothing. Expect food and health. Science and cake. Music and flicker shows. I'll take the bean froth from the top of the pot and replant it into a garden of pixels. Please enjoy the many pleasures of the interwebs and here's to not letting our spoils go up in smoke. |
